City of Tempe

With all the changes we saw for 2020 regarding the pandemic, COVID 19 our year got thrown for a loop. We were honored to partner with the City of Tempe and its outreach program for the homeless population.
We reached out to the community to ask for donations to help serve the homeless population and we received enough donations to build 50 bags.

Bags included [but were not limited to] hats, sunblock, chapstick, personal hygiene items, and much more.

As we walked into this pandemic we didn’t know what to expect but once again our community came and gave so much to this partnership.

One N Ten

One N Ten has a mission is to serve LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 11-24. We enhance their lives by providing empowering social and service programs that promote self‐expression, self‐acceptance, leadership development, and healthy life choices.

We partnered with One N Ten to complete cards for incoming youth and partners. We made a commitment of 500 cards but ended up writing on 602. 602 messages of love, acceptance and empowerment. With all that is going on in the world today being able to write things that would spark joy was amazing.

Food Kitchens X Mesa Public Schools

Covid-19 really took us for a ride this year and so many families suffered. With our service opportunities becoming lower and lower we had to come up with new innovative ways to give back.

We were lucky enough to partner with a couple of principals in the Mesa Public School District and provide a spreadsheet for multiple resources for families and food shelters.

In the spreadsheet, we shared with them information was not limited but included: locations, times, addresses, phone numbers, amount of boxes, frequency, etc.

Like so many this year stress can feel overwhelming and not having to search for this information was a small but nig way we were able to give back. We shared this with the Principals we knew, they shared with their fellow Principals and most inportantly their families.

Hospice of the Valley

Creating relationships while you cannot be around people seems near impossible and that is what a lot of our senior population had to face this past year.

Even though we couldn’t go visit our amazing seniors we wanted them to know we were still thinking of them.

Together we created hand painted cards, sweet notes of love and encouragement and paper flowers to brighten their days.
